87 cab to 77 frame?
I have a 77 Blazer that rust has destroyed. I have found a 87 pickup with very little rust. Can i bolt the 87 clip and cab to the 77 frame or does this require major fabrication?

I guess the blazer is a 79. I have trouble keeping the years straight on my junk collection. LOL

I know the front frame horns that the bumper bumps up to is not the same and I think the body mounts are not the same too. I think that is all. But you can take it off the old frame and put it on the new one easy..

Re: 87 cab to 77 frame?
in 78 they went to a folding rear seat and had to move two of the body mounts from the inside of the frame rails to the out side, of coarse any of this can be changed with the right tools but straight bolt on interchangeable years are as follows 69-72, 73-77, 78-91
