What rear axle do I have ??
Hi folks,
another question from a german trucker. I have a 66 C10 truck with a modified rear axle. It is a 12 bolt and there is the number "A225" at the bottom next to the differential cover. Can anybody say something about this? The truck (shotbed stepside) is modified from a coil spring suspension to a leaf spring one. Now I try to find out what kind of axle this is. It would be cool to hear something from somebody. Greetings from Germany, Andy |

Take a look around on the axle tube passenger side there should be letters stamped in, you may need to clean and look hard if there is rust. Those letters identify the diff, here is a link to the codes http://www.americanclassic.com/paint_test.asp
