Air Ride and Driveshaft Advice
Advice needed please.
Did a brief search for this topic - but didn't have much luck. 72, LWB C10. What type of driveshafts are you guys using with the ART Cool Ride rear setup: original 2-piece or a 1-piece? Initially I thought a 1-piece was the only route to go, given the new ART crossmember - however my driveshaft guy gave me a some grief regarding strength/rpms to cover that distance (69 5/16")...said it wasn't a huge issue, but did tack on a bit more to price for 3 1/2 steel, balancing, etc. Which led to my thinking about the two piece option - i'm assuming i would need to fab something to the ART crossmember for the union of the two? Thanks in advance for any assistance. |

Re: Air Ride and Driveshaft Advice
You might contact AirRide and see what their thoughts are on the subject. I'm sure they have already thought of something. I would think a two piece would be better.

Re: Air Ride and Driveshaft Advice
Thanks. Did just that, they recommended a 1 piece - so that's the route i went: 3 1/2 steel.
He also confirmed the concerns my drive shaft guy had. |
