Minor run in the paint
Okay here's a painting tip. When you're in the middle of painting your rig, and you stop to refill the spray cup, make sure you unplug the air hose before setting the gun on the rack. That way if you accidently step on the hose, you won't throw an entire quart of paint on the fresh/finished paint like I did! The last time I actually had a run in a paint job was in 1965. I guess this makes up for it. The mess was beyond ridiculous and much worse than the pictures show. At least it all ended up on the left fender and bed side, it could have been worse.

Re: Minor run in the paint
Yeah that really does suck......but like you said could have been worse.
So this was a result of just stepping on the hose?

Re: Minor run in the paint
That was it. I just moved a tad to pick up the lid for the spray cup and watched as the gun flipped over backwards right past me. It hit the floor before I could react. I just figured I had a mess on the floor, picked up the gun, wiped it off, refilled it again ready to keep going - until I turned around and saw the truck!!
