New to forum 1969 Chevy
Hello,
My name is Dennis and I'm a Hotrodaholic. I just stumbled across this forum, looked like fun so I registered. If done right I've attached some pictures of my 69 Chevy. It has a 70 front end and a late model bed. It currently has a 327, but I've got a 355 I pulled from my Vette to go in it. It also has a late model truck seat, VDO guages, late model tilt column, cruise control and Vintage air. |

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Fatman, Wally, I bought the seat off ebay a couple years ago. If I remember right it was from a 97 or 98 Chevy truck. Dennis |

Ya Chev2, I hear ya. Lowering it is on my list on my to do list. The Vette has depleted my funds and left nothing over for the truck for a while. I'm ashamed to say I've been thinking about doing the low budget thing and cutting the coils to get it down just a bit until I'm ready to spend the cash to do it right. I'll be posting that question to the group when I'm ready to spend some time in the cold garage.
WNC, The Vette already has a 400hp aluminum head 355. The 355 is actually out of a 71 Vette I sold a while back. The 355 for the truck is about 350 hp. It became a spare when I swapped it out for a 440hp 383 for the old Vette. Racedvl, Good eye, the front is actually off a 72. Don't know why I typed 70. Probably inhaled too many exhaust fumes. Thanks, Dennis |
