Hello from St. Petersburg FL
Hi everyone
I found this site by searching for some info on my truck and boy am i glad i did! I have a 1972 Chevy c10 longbed fleetside with a 350 that belonged to my Great-Grand dad. It was his "going to the city" truck. He gave it to my Granddad who drove it for a long time and then he passed it on to my Aunt who drove it until she gave it to my parents. It spent it's life in Oklahoma until my dad drove it down to FL with no A/C in June!! lol I'm in high school right now so its not really mine yet, but they let me drive it pretty much whenever I want. It was in the shop being restored for about a year and a half and we just got it back about a month ago about 8 yrs ago it was rear ended while sitting in front of our house and the frame was bent and there were some dents filled with bondo. There was a moderate amount of rust (I'll try to find some "before" pics). We had it painted, had the bondo taken out and replaced with new metal, had the rust cut out, new interior, windows etc. it doesnt even look like the same truck anymore now down to business lol here's some pics: Last edited by Joemacgames; 09-07-2009 at 09:50 PM. |
