Power brake boaster conversion
I am in the process of installing a 73-87 brake boaster on my 65 c20, I went to home depot for all thread to extend the push rod for the boaster but they don't have 7/16 fine thread. Where could I get some ? also how long do i need to extend it to ?

You might try NAPA - the store in my town stocks it.
Another option is to weld in a couple of inches of solid bar stock before the threaded part (I cut and re-combined/welded the 83 and 66 rods on mine to get the right length) |

You can buy the parts instead of just rigging They don't cost much. We sell them. Can't beat that all thread though
