Re: 1958, whatca think?
This is probably the best place for exposure on these trucks.
Sorry I don't have much to offer for 58's. But, my suggestion would be to check completed items on eBay. That's what I always do. Scan other 58's and 59's to see the ones that sold, not the ones that had unrealistic starting bids and didn't sell. Someone told me a long time ago, and I still believe it; "doesn't matter if it's real estate, cars, or baseball cards, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it."

Theres about 500-1k in parts there. If your looking to biuld a 58, buy the best core that you can, it's the 15-20k in part to rebiuld it that starts to taste of the keg.

Re: 1958, whatca think?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I did a search on Atlanta CL and found THIS. I also checked oldrides.com, but nothing came up for a 1958 truck. Looks like someone sprayed undercoating on the floor trying to cover the obvious. If I had to throw a number up with what I know from the pics it wold be in the 1000-1500 range. That is an uneducated guess. Good luck!!

Re: 1958, whatca think?
Just from the photos it appears like there is rust in the cab corners, floor boards, lower hinge pockets, steps, maybe the eyebrows. I would also check the sills, lower rear of front fenders, curved piece behind the grille ends, cab eye brow, door bottoms and stake pockets. There are a number of threads on here that show the work involved in fixing those areas.
My next project will cost me 3K more but will be rust free, I am getting tired of spending all summer on major body work and not doing the mechanical stuff I really like. It all comes down to what you can and want to tackle, there are guys here gleefully replacing everything from the mid-line down because that is what they like to do. Check it out carefully.
