95 Blazer with cracked dash
I have a 95 Blazer that has cracks in the dash. They run from the defroster vents at the corners as well as from the dash speakers. Whats the best way to repair these cracks? Obviously I can't replace the dash like the pads on my '68 and '71. Lowes sells light gray silicone caulk. If all else fails I might see what I can do with that. Also, how do you change the instrument bulbs? I can't see my temp or oil pressure guages at night.

Re: 95 Blazer with cracked dash
They sell an auto vinyl repair kit at Autozone, or you can get it from Eastwood. If you follow the instructions exactly, it will do an acceptable job. The whole plastic trim piece around your gauges pops off. Then you can access the cluster. You have to pull it out and replace bulbs from the back side.

Re: 95 Blazer with cracked dash
how about one of those carpet pad dash cover things molded and shaped to your dash?

Re: 95 Blazer with cracked dash
the good thing about the s10's is you can unbolt the whole dash and swap it out for a good one, not epoxy's or carpet dash covers just a full days work.
