I drove a new Pontiac G3 home from work. Must I recommend not doing that. I sell these things and have sold more of them than anyone else at my store, but...that drive pretty well sucked! Would not be a bad car for around town runs, but my 35 mile drive home. No thanks!

Re: What did you get done 10/19/2009?

Power washed off my oil covered motor on my new 78 after my uncle had soaked it down and let it sit with a diesel/gas mixture, pulled my broken smog tube off my 83 Olds Delta 88. The spare one I had off another olds is the same, so only have to buy a new check valve.
Other than that, worked all week.

Re: What did you get done 10/19/2009?

After almost 4 weeks of non stop rain it finally cleared up this week. The rain was pushed out by a cool front so the skies were crystal clear.

That motivated me to work on garage projects. My daughter has a small ciar she has used in her bathroom for years. It was showing it's age so I stripped it and repainted it. It was white, now it's black lacquer.

Yesterday while waiting for paint to dry I worked on the 77. Did a few minor things and detailed the paint.
Last night I went to the local cruise spot and enjoyed 300+ local hotrods.

Today I finished the chair, then too my 77 out for a scenic drive. I stopped and took pics along the way. I have a lot more but the gallery won't let me load them. I'll post more when it's upload properly.

Replaced my heater core. I don't wanna do it again, you can't make me...

I showed the old one how much I loved it by smashin it with a hammer. Both sides...

Been driving around my grandpas '05 GMC Canyon. It's got a full Belltech suspension under it and the usual power adders. Tons of fun... That reminds me, I gotta go wash it...

Rain Rain Rain.......

Got up with a friend Saturday and I now have all the parts I need to add power steering to the Heap. Steering box, pump, Pitman arm, hoses, brackets etc.

Added some exhaust tips to the duals, pictures later.

Went to go look at a single cab dually on CL. Guy wouldn't budge on the price at all. Did not buy it. Put dropped spindles on my 87' burb. Went to go look at another dually on CL, but a wrecker, bought that one. Worked alot in my shop.

Re: What did you get done 10/19/2009?

went to a car show, and worked on my truck to make it more driver friendly first thing was adjust the throttle cable it would get in a bin and would be almost impossible to press down the gas pealed. Then I adjust the windshield wipers they would good hung on the window weather stripping, next will be fixing the window cranks they keep falling apart, add new headlight adjusters can't see a darn thing at night, and the hook up the heaters hoses and rig up a defroster

Re: What did you get done 10/19/2009?

Hit my favorite salvage yard. Scored a mark VI fan for my buddies big block 64 c10, a new dash board(been hunting), a new grill, a sport bumper and another set of dual 12" fans for free got to look at at a couple of L98's and some LS1's(saving up for) at a local corvette shop. Ditched the metal roll pan and installed the sport bumper. Story time with my 21 month old daughter and cleaned up my tools.

Re: What did you get done 10/19/2009?

Finally got my 83 Dump registered and now need to get the seats bolted in. Went flying when I took a turn a little bit too fast! Replaced bench with buckets. Took it out and got pulled over for non-working left turn signal. No ticket, I used hand signals and the cop didn't know what a hand signal was!! Kids!?!

Made brackets to run dana 44 calipers on a dana 60 and started turning down 16 new wheel studs to except the 44 rotors.
Removed the dash.
Took apart the cluster and painted the inside white, waiting on the led bulbs to arive.
Started modding gauges.
