73-87 front suspension on 72 Burb?

This post is for a friend of mine,he has a 72 suburban. He wants to know if the front suspension for a 73-87 will bolt up to the 72 Suburban frame? Or are mods needed to make it work?

Thanks!

Yes.
Both are disc brake.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Thank you! He came across a complete front end for 150$ that was rebuilt all new bushings and never used off of 73-87. It is supposed to have new 2" drop spindles on it. He was just looking to swap his old for this front suspension.

Go for it. The dropped spindles are worth that.

X2!
Pull everything from the a-arms out,... and bolt right on to your existing crossmember.
You will have a "super cheap" front end rebuild.
