10 bolt ball joint an 44 ball joint
my ? is i got an 87 gmc jimmy wit new ball joint in it an i got a dana 44 but it needs new ball joints can i take the spindle an all of the 10 bolt an bolt it to the 44 cause the 44 is set up wit 4:56 gears

I believe you can but you have to swap everything, including the spindle out to the locking hub, and check axle stub shaft spline count to make sure that is the same. I believe it is, just the long part of the axle splines are differant.

right i wasnt to worried about the axle shafts they will work just wasnt sure about the ball joints
