Rear Control arms?
I am replacing my ebrake cables and noticed the bushings on the rear control arms are dry rotted and cracked. Will I see any real difference in ride or handling by replacing these?

I don't know if you will see a difference. Kind of a pain to change out. I'm sure it's like everything else; if it make's you feel better, do it. Change your wheel bearings instead.

Re: Rear Control arms?
Getting the old stuff out & adding new poly bushings help eliminate some slop when transitioning into & out of corners. Definitely worth doing.
The poly bushings re-use the original shell so you just remove the rotted rubber. Pressing in new rubber bushings requires removing & replacing the entire bushing w/shell.

Re: Rear Control arms?
Not sure what book. It was in an email forwarded to me.
Didn't even pay attention to that part, although I can see why it might have caught your eye. No offense intended
