Wheel fitment
I am in the process of fixing up my '82 c10 and am looking at wheels now. I want Boss Motorsports 338s. I would really like to run 20s but am a little worried because they only come as 20x10s. The specs are 6.225" backspacing and +20 mm offset. Is anyone running anything like this or even these?
Another option would be either 18x9.5 or 18x8. 18x8- 4.517" backspacing, +2 mm offset 18x9.5- 5.031" backspacing, -4 mm offset I am planning on doing about a 4" drop all around so I'm wondering how any of these would fit or recommendations. Thanks Jordan |

Re: Wheel fitment
Just bought a set of Coy's that look simular to what you want, 20x10 with 5" b/s and 20x7's with 4.5" b/s up front. They fit like a glove. Pic's comming soon.

Re: Wheel fitment
I was going to get the same setup, I ended up with the grey spokes/polished rim from Coy's. Either way back spacing should be the same. Post pic's when you get them on, I'll have some of mine up soon.

Re: Wheel fitment
I havent bought them yet, just thinking about it, and idk I think that these might have too much chrome so I was going to go with light grey spokes like you got...can you get the spinner caps for Coys?

I hear ya about to much chrome, thats why I went with the grey spokes. I'm sure the chrome would probally look just fine. |

The 1.25" wide rotors won't fit the current design of the Boss 338's. They are redesigning them,... but who know for sure when they will be out. I've heard anywhere fron 90-120 days. Here's my original Boss 338 thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=352320. Read it all and you will see how long people have been waiting. I'm running the 1" rotors to fix the problem now,... since I already have these wheels.

I was thinking of doing a fat 17x10 on the back (without sticking out of the fender) and 16x7 on the front. Anyone know what size b/s and offset I need?? Anyone have a picture of their wheels and the specs??

Re: Wheel fitment
wow thanks for letting me know the problem, I had no idea. I was planning on going with upgraded 13" disc rotor set up all the way around, so I don't know if that would make a difference or not? I like them for the same reason because they look almost identical to the Coys and are almost half price.

Re: Wheel fitment
oh and some people were saying that the Coys have problems too, Custom Deluxe, you have any problems with the Coys? You said they fit perfect right. I love your truck by the way. That's what I want mine to look like, plan, simple and smooth looking. What kind of drop are you running?
