'66 GMC wiper switch in Chev
I came up on a 66 GMC in my local salvage yard yestarday that has the window washing feature (button in the center of the knob). Will any of this fit/work on my 65 C10? The knob looks like the ones used on the 60-63 Chevrolets and that threw me off. Would rather have the correct Chevrolet knob but... I had in mind to get the switch, holding tank, lines, maybe wiper motor. Also getting the V8 radiator and fan shroud brackets if they will fit my truck.
Thanks, Keith |

You should be able to use it all but may have to get the wiring connector off the GMC also and re-wire your truck slightly. GMC used different wiring in several places compared to the same year Chevy. Wiper motor, washer pump and all should fit your truck without problems.
The 66 GMC did not come with a V8 but more likely a large V6 (look for V6 emblems on hood). If it is a 3 or 4 core radiator it should be fine for a small block but GMC did start running 2 core radiators with the V6 in 65 or 66 and I have always had problems with them when they get old and start plugging up.
