Who on this board had his AM/FM radio updated?

Awhile ago someone on this board had his stock radio reworked.Anyone know who that was? As I recall they added a mp3 player inputs and RCA jacks on the output side. There was even a photo of it after he got it back. I did a search but it did not come up. Any help apprecitaed.

I can't find it in the FAQ section, but I thought it was Krue who did that.

Re: Who on this board had his AM/FM radio updated?

No sorry that is not the one. The one I'm thinking of the guy sent his radio off and this company reworked it. It looks completely stock but has better electronics and a MP3 input with RCA outputs.

That is awesome. Wish I had thought about that before I cut a NOS bezel for a damn Alpine! If I thought I could trust someone around here or buy one already done I would rip the Alpine out in a minute.

50 bux for an mp3 install...or the entire thing rebuilt with new digital tuner and guts? Mine is completely re-worked with a new, more powerful digital tuner, mp3, pre-amp, etc...

Re: Who on this board had his AM/FM radio updated?

On my 67 Corvette I used Jerry Rudbeck at Electrodesign.us. http://www.electrodesign.us/contactus.htm

Jerry is a great guy with wonderful communication and workmanship. He did my OEM Vette radio, guided me to an excellent new speaker. He then balanced the two for optimum sound. His pricing is very reasonable. $40 for an iPod Jack. Radio works beautifully. Al W.

It was like $300 something...expensive, but worth it IMO. If you want more info, PM me your number, I'll call you and fill you in on some feedback before you send it in.
