New ride
Just picked up this 73 swb...Very excited about gettin the project rolling..Been reading for a few months now and planning on a 5.3 swap unless a 6.0 falls on my lap for a good price...lol
heres what she used to look like about 2yrs ago: What it looked like when i went to pick it up... The story is this...it belonged to a buddy who did all the body work and mechanical work when he found it in some guys back yard(his dad owns a body shop)....he got it looking like it does in the first 2 pics. He went off to oklahoma for school and flew back for thanksgiving...got a call on thanksgiving day from the cops saying they had found his truck in an alley...it had been stolen and the guys took the motor, tranny and seats...he had plans of working on it but after a year he didnt ever touch it and ended up in a tough financial spot...I was in the market for a square body so he sold it to me....So as of 11am its mine..lol..the body is all there its just sitting in the bed of the truck. Paint is near perfect condition so im really looking forward to getting this truck on the road as my new daily driver and tow rig for my camaro.

Re: New ride
May the folks that stole the truck end up with a chaulk outline of their boby on a sidewalk somewhere.
