Chrome fleetside bumpers
Looking for a set of replacement factory style chrome fleetside bumpers for my 79K10? I'm not overly impressed with the LMC bumpers, any other vendor recommendations?
Thanks

Re: Chrome fleetside bumpers
Captkaos has bumpers... http://store.73-87chevytrucks.com/me...387RearBumpers
Also check out Classicparts.com I think they have similar parts to LMC but the prices are better many items. http://www.classicparts.com/1973-80-...info/65-071RC/ I know this doesn't benefit you... but they have a smokin deal on 81-87 NOS rear chrome bumpers... http://www.classicparts.com/1981-91-...info/65-072GC/

Another option is to locate a stock bumper and have it chromed locally at a bumper shop.

Re: Chrome fleetside bumpers
LMC's premium bumpers have nice chrome that won't instantly rust the minute you take your eyes off it. If you can get this same bumper from another vendor I would do it.
LMC has had OK service in the past, but last time they tried to charge me a $30 shipping and handling free on a box that shouldn't have cost more than $10 to send. I may not be ordering anything from them ever again if this is how it's going to be.

Re: Chrome fleetside bumpers
Before I replaced the front bumper on my truck, I sanded back the inside and painted it with a rust proof paint (can't remember what I used) 3 years and still as good as new
