replacement panel?
Second photo is probably best to show piece I need (rusted through flange), does anyone make a repair part for this area? I can't tell from my old LMC catalog picture. Is this what is called the "footwell"? Thanks

Re: replacement panel?
I had to replace this panel on my Sons 64 Shortwide. Its not too bad to replace. Just make sure you cut back far enough to get into good metal. Good luck with your project.

Re: replacement panel?
Thanks, guys. I guess that's also a yes as to these being what's called a footwell so I now know what to order.
I was checking out your store, Mike, tried to pm you earlier but your mailbox is full.

Re: replacement panel?
Footwell or kick panel, depending on where you purchase them.
www.lmctruck.com Item #38-9202 - Footwell LH & #38-9203 - Footwell RH, $29.95 each + tax + shipping. www.classicparts.com Item #44-117 - Inner Lower Cowl Panel Left & #44-118 - Inner Lower Cowl Panel Right, $21.95 + tax + shipping. I have installed both and they appear to be from the same supplier, so I would go with Classic Parts, since they are a little cheaper price, but apparently the same quality. There are many others that sell this item, including: www.bowtiebits.com www.truckandcarshop.com www.oldchevytrucks.com Last edited by LILRED66; 02-11-2010 at 09:39 AM. |
