Re: The ones that got away!

Those are all trucks I have owned and sold in the past 2-3 years, due in part, to the depressed economy.

Dino:

With the trucks in your fleet, I am honored you would like to have one of mine. Thanks for the kind words. A stock truck in your herd would look out of place, but a nice tribute to the rolling survivors!

Tony I just shed a tear after looking at those trucks. Not sure how you could hold up after something like that.

Re: The ones that got away!

My collection is down to three, pretty nice trucks, so I am thankful for that. I never intended to sell any of the trucks in my collection, but business has been way down the past 2 years and projects have been few and far between. Over the past 10 years I have invested in 4-5-6 Chevy trucks, instead of stocks & bonds. When things get tough, I have to peel off a truck, like most would cash in a stock or 401K. One of these days things will come around and I will be able to find some cool trucks again.

Although seeing them go was painful, it was also bittersweet. They went to good homes and the proceeds allowed me to survive for a few more months. It all happens for a reason and I am keeping the faith. Thanks for the condolences!
