upholstery shops in ATX area
Anybody know any good upholstery shops or do interior work in the Austin area? I need to have my headliner recovered in black material.
Thanks, |

Re: upholstery shops in ATX area
I had my headliner done by a company off 51st. It's on the westside of I-35. It's about 1-2 blocks. They do a great job. I've done three headliners. All warrantied for life or ownership of the vehicle. Sorry, I can't remember their name. I did find them in the yellow pages.

Me too. Same shop, 1 day turnaround and they are in the phone book.

Jim's Top Shop off N. Lamar does good work. They are next to Austin Performance and Austin Corvette. That little strip of shops is pretty much the last piece of the muscle car scene in Austin.

Re: upholstery shops in ATX area
If you are going to do your own, make a custom design!! Cut some thin sponge foam into flames, bowtie, swirls or whatever. Glue the foam onto the board. Cover it with new cloth. Looks great and easy to do.
