what are these and where do they go?
I found these supports in a box and I know they came with my truck when I bought it, but I can't figure out where they go.
I imagine they go in the front to support the front fenders but I dont see where. So if anyone has pics of them installed or anything it would be much appreciated, thanks

they are bumper brackets but not for these years. Look more like 71 to 72 fronts to me

I know you're not doing a S-10 swap, but those look like S-10 bumper brackets to me.

well that explains why I couldnt figure out where they go
I was hoping they went in and supported the two front curvy brackets that mount the fenders. The whole front of my truck shakes and wiggles a bit as I drive down the road and Im trying to get rid of it. |

I made two little supports that go from the frame to the bottom of the grille.
I suggest everyone does it, takes 99.9% of the "looseness" out the front. Last edited by cajundragger; 02-21-2010 at 08:59 PM. |
