the $450 2wd blazer i bought

i thought it was a super good price.its got a pontiac small block 400 that will hopefully get a FI 350 sometime soon.the body is pretty good.a PO torched the front springs to lower it.interior is shot.Name:  031.jpg

If it runs okay, I'd definitely keep the Pontiac 400 in there!

I maybe a bit biased besides my 350 powered Blazer everything I got is Pontiac 400 powered... My Trans Am and GTO's are all 400 Poncho powered.
Love 400's!

BTW Nice solid Blazer to start with. Wish I could find one like that for that kind of money....(I paid over 20 times more than that for mine, and that's without all shipping, import and registration costs to get it here....)

i think the starter needs tightend up,the wires have came loose.only problem is i am 7ft tall 300lbs and dont fit under it to tighted them up.i got some ramps to pull it up on so i can get under it.goin to try and fire it up tonite

yeah it sucks.i will probably do some seat adjustments and maybe a different steering wheel at some point.

You know, I saw the outside and thought, "Looks like a nice clean Blazer." Then I saw why you said the interior was hammered. You should contact Glock35ipsc. He had a set of Gray buckets from a Suburban (listed in the 73-87 classifieds). Worth checking out for sure. He is a good guy and the seats are a HUGE improvement for you...um, I guess that doesn't say much. Does it?
