Re: Blazer from Ebay popped up on Seattle Craigslist
I saw that last night and almost posted it too. I'm not sure why the sellers location keeps changing.

Yup, bet it's a scam. Always leary of ads without phone numbers.

Re: Blazer from Ebay popped up on Seattle Craigslist
Really? I have never put my phone number in a CL ad. I usually send it out when I respond to someone's email. Perhaps that is why I have a set of tires that haven't sold...

Re: Blazer from Ebay popped up on Seattle Craigslist
Bouncy, I think your missing the impulse buyer. If I have to respond by email and then wait for a response, I loose the urge. If I'm hot to trot to buy something I want it now. I usually have limited time, so it's important not to have to wait.
Now with a car or expensive items, I think it just lends legitemacy to the deal. Are you afraid someone will call and offer you more than your asking price?

Re: Blazer from Ebay popped up on Seattle Craigslist
I was more afraid I'd get a call from a long lost relative in Kenya that needs to get millions of dollars out of the country and they will share it with me if I simply give them my bank account number...
I think I'll start adding my phone number...
