I have 35mm film and records from 1963 Chevrolet Communication Kits produced by Jam Handy, that I would like to share with everyone. I tried using my flat top scanner but it's not made for film , quality's just not there. I have a projector that I tried projecting on a screen and capturing with my camera, not to crisp a picture. Has anyone tried the little scanners found on Ebay? Any suggestions?

I need to find out the same thing. I have all our family pictures on slides that I need to put on DVD for the rest of my Brothers.

Also how do you clean the film or slide to get all the dust off before you scan them?

You can take your film to any photo developing place (walgreens, CVS, Riteaid etc., not sure what you guys call em up north) and they will be able to scan your films for you no problem. Those places don;t do a lot of film development anymore, but they still do a ton of printing from digital, and they have all the right equipment to make nice crisp scans of film and slides for you.
