Bub's 79 c10

Hey everyone i have a long way to go and need lots of help. I'm building this pickup for my son Philip which is also my name so i call him "Bubba" hints bub's 79. So if anyone has any great ideas or wants to come and help please do

Well anyway here is some starting pics hopefully with more to come.

im running a drop shackle and drop spindles hopefully a flipkit and springs will get me what i want any ideas or pics to compare stance please thx.

good luck man have fun building it need to get that beast lowered check out my build thread man get you some ideas. I redid all the suspension and all of it. The link is in my signature check it out.

so i bought my stroker motor from a buddy and he said it had piston slap well that was an understatement and needless to say it is at the machine shop as of right now and possible going to be a 390 when its done but im only in the thing $400 and the crank and rods are forged and i get to pick out my pistons ahaha ill take some pics on the rebuild.

Well the machinist called and looks like it gonna bored .0020 over and run a 3.80 stroke basically putting it at a 390 ci stroker should be pretty crazy in my little pickup comes back on friday

Really excited to drive it hahaha

Here is a couple pics of the pistons im real proud of them and so was the company who i bought them from cuz they were really expensive lol.

You know you didn't actually pay for those. I heard they got ordered on the parts dept tab. Just kidding you man. That is all looking good. Get it together and get it in. Tell my sister that she needs to give up 1 meal a day for a month so you can build your motor...oh wait...don't do that!!!

OK so i got her running and im working out the little kinks it runs great and im happy i went with a mild cam cause before 2000rpm she just glides down the road after that it's a wild crazy animal and i havent even went past 4200rpm so excited for the 500 mile mark will post some videos. Paint and drop is next! WHEN I GET MORE MONEY SHE DOESNT KNOW ABOUT!!!!

Alright so the truck runs great, sounds great but looks like sh!t! So im going to paint it a nice silver metallic or a deep blue, kinda stuck on silver.
