1970 Blazer body swap to 88' K5 frame
I have been looking and searching for any information about the 1970 K5 blazer frames and the 1980's K5 blazer frames. I have a 1970 Blazer body and am wondering if I can put it onto a 1988 K5 frame. If its possible are there any changes that need to be made? Thanks for the help

But it's easy to swap almost all the '85 running gear to the '70.

Re: 1970 Blazer body swap to 88' K5 frame
It actually has the front and rear diffs in it, just no engine, trans or transfer case. I have a 88' k5 with a 350tbi and 700r4 with the np203 transfer case. What would be needed to swap the drivetrain over? also someone had cut the engine cross member for some reason on the 70. Will the 88 k5 driveshafts fit or will they need to be cut down?
