Smile Did some major surgery this weekend

Since the 305 was having oil pressure problems (almost 0 after it had warmed up) and unknown mileage
It was out with the old

And in with the newer

got the new pedal assembly in and the hole for the shifter started ( got to get another blade LOL)

With any luck It should be finished by this weekend

Re: Did some major surgery this weekend

Took me a little longer than I'd hope for to get it back together
Ran into a minor problem putting the rear shaft back in. The 78 uses the small Chevy ujoint where as the shaft I had to use had the big ujoint. Just had to wait a day for the one that goes both ways to come in
Took it out for a test run yesterday and does it ever run and shift nice

Here it is almost all back together again

the new sifter and mini console

Just have to clean up some wiring and put the dash back together

this is why I always upload the pics to this site and not just link to them, cause now there are no pics as the links are broken or pics removed
