Tubular control arms?

I know classicparts.com makes tubular upper and lower control arms as well as tubular trailing arms. Are there any advantages to having these on your truck? And if so are they worth putting money into getting them on my truck? I want to make it somewhat a good handling truck, and it's getting the small block treatment for now, until I get the 496 up and running together. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced

Chris

Re: Tubular control arms?

They can provide a better ball joint angle on lowered trucks. Some may allow more caster to improve handling. Lowers can be made to accomodate bags or coil-overs. Look better. Too expensive.

Re: Tubular control arms?

Ah, okay. Well I want to lower it just a few inches. Are they worth getting at all?

Thanks
