According to my 62 Custom Installations Manual, the roof rack for our years suburban had a flattened tube on the front and rear of the rack to cut down on wind noise. The picture on ebay is not clear enough to see if it is flattened. That's why I put the ?.

The stantions have a rectangular base on the roof rack as the side rails have a bullet shape or arrow head.
