roof panel replacement question?
I want to swap my roof top panel, I found a good top from a junkyard, my question is if I need to drill all the way through the headliner panel also,or can I just drill out enough until the top seperates? I did not want to have to fill any unessessary holes on the underside of the roof top. any body got some good pics. of this? thanks

Re: roof panel replacement question?
The cap can be removed entirely from the outside by drilling out the spot-welds around the perimeter of the drip rail. When installing the donor roof cap, the holes can be puddle-welded and the drip rail partially filled with flowable seam fill, therefore there is no evidence of replacing the cap from inside the cab.
