c notch dificulty
how hard is it to install a c notch kit on a 81 c 10 my truck has a axle flip kit but didnt do the c notch so any bump and it hits the frame

If you are doning just a small c notch they come with a patern and tell you where to place it on frame. Did mine with 4in angle grinder with cut off wheel

Did it with the just the wheels removed and the axle & bed still on the truck. Didn't take long just used 4 jack stands on the frame two in front of axle & two behind axle.

They are clear I don't think they make them anymore? mine are ?8 years old? all the ones I have seen have a little red in them somewhere because of DOT

Yeah they don't make any clear tail lights anymore but watch ebay.The notch he has is the same style most companies use its real easy to cut and put in.

Not sure if you guys are still on the cnotch subjest but it all depends what cnotch you buy...some cnotches you have to remove the bed some not. The cnotch itself is very simple to do. Grinder, cutoff wheel, really good half inch drillbit and you'll be fine.

cool i saw some on ebay and such they were any were from 100 to 200 bucks looking into them though
