New Guy in the sand box
Hey guys, first off want to say that this forum has already been a great help. I got two toys at the house (82 C10 custom D, & 77 C10 cheyenne) both long legged. Plan on doing alot of work on the 77 in about a month as thats when I have a 10 day R&R comin.
I got the truck for 800 so now I only have about 3 or 4 grand to play with. I want to get everyones opinions on what they would do if they could have a whack at Sally (thats the 77's name). Maybe what you would have done different from the get go on some of yours. By the way just want to let you know reading this forum long into the night has kept my busy and I really appreciate that. so lets go build a truck! |

Re: New Guy in the sand box
Welcome from NW Washington. Looks like a great project. I would suggest first of to make sure Sally runs good and the safety stuff is in order. Then attack the body work. Good luck.

Re: New Guy in the sand box
thanks J, yea she runs well and is safe as can be. she needs a new trans befor anything but that will happen befor i get home ( if i can figure out what kind to put in). the body parts are already stacking up in the living room. girlfriend is trying to pretend she doesn't see her living room turning into storage space for my toys.
