10 bolt housing ID =HELP

I have had no luck in finding a listing for my 10 bolt rear housing- web sites=?? It is marked on pass housing as = GAF C063 1 ==Casting is= 8B / 25 14030352 what is this out of & whats a web site that lists all of the gtm rear housing id's<< Thanx,matt

It might help if you provided a little more info such as. What year of truck? Is it a C10,20,30 or is it a K series? Does it appear to be the original rear differential? How many wheel studs?

I'm not aware of one website that lists just all GM rear differential ID codes.

Rear end housing is a 10 bolt= had a posi & 4:11 gears et inside - it has the 2 cast square pieces on lower sides -1 ea. side -i do not know what its from?? was mounted under a ford ranchero so small width. has 5 lugs - believed 5 x 5 ?? yet maybe 5 x 4&3/4/?,Matt

isnt there any way to find the ids? like fron casting #'s 140----- or the housing stamps??

Could you post a pic of it? I'm not aware of a place where you can punch in the casting number and get the rear end application and type. Usually you have to know what type of rear it is and then track down the casting numbers to get more detail.
