noobie from sunny socal

hey guys just wanted to introduce myself and say how awesome this forum is. my names manny and ive had my 63 C10 for a few months now. without this site, i wouldnt be able to be daily driving my rig today!!! awesome.

ive been wrenching on bicycles and cars since grade school. and its due time to start a real project. I traded my 1986 4runner for a long bed c10, straight 6 w/ three on the tree. straight body, usual rust, 1day paint job. it was pretty much a steal. probably because the previous owner was a ruhtard. first real problem that ive encountered was that the mofo wired the alternator "almost" for an internally regulated setup even though the alt clearly had an orange sticker saying to use an external reg. but thanks to you guys i was able to rewire it and my lights dont explode anymore!!!

but thats enough rambling. ill be bugging you guys with a lot of questions after my search button catches on fire of course..

thanks again!
manny b.

also, if your interested in jazzing up your V8, check out the girlfriend's dad's breather tubes and matching engine kits www.jpenginekit.com. tell him manny sent you!!!!
