LMC light question
i recently purchased the Euro 200mm headlight from lmc. i also bought the replacement halogen light bulbs so i can see which ones i happen to like better..... my only question is do i have to get the heavy duty headlight harness also? i going to be ordering the park-lights and side markers before monday and if i could get some answers that would be helpful.
Thanks Guys Truly 1980c-10 my baby |

Re: LMC light question
I wouldn't say you have to, but when it comes to headlights and the additional current draw, it would be a very good idea.
Anytime I upgrade a headlight the first thing I do is install a setup like the HD wiring harness with the relays. The new bulbs will draw more current than the old sealed beams and without the harness, it all has to go through the factory light switch. I have had several of these switches meltdown in the past and it ain't pretty.

Re: LMC light question
Its a good idea to upgrade the wiring but as long as you use the stock wattage bulbs, you'll be fine.

Re: LMC light question
Get the upgraded headlight harness, it is worth your while, it puts the draw to a relay under the hood instead of a switch on the dash, it will make them burn brighter, last longer, and take the strain off your system.
