Anyone know where a fleetside bedside might be?
I'd love to locate a 58-59 shortbed drivers side bedside somewhere within driving distance. Anyone have a good lead?

if idaho is within driving distance look on boise craiglist for 1959. then look for a guy in kuna that does clips and one in mountain home that has some trucks he is parting out. every now and then complete trucks show up in the car section too

Re: Anyone know where a fleetside bedside might be?
Hope your weren't thinking you were going to pick up a fixable bed for under 600 - 800. Thats the starting price these days for a restorable fleet side. With trim $3000 easy.

Re: Anyone know where a fleetside bedside might be?
I really only need the drivers side bedside. Mine is repairable, but will take some work. Figured it might be easier to find another bedside. If the going rate is that high I'll be able to fix my bad bedside then plate it in gold and still save some $$.
That's crazy expensive.

Re: Anyone know where a fleetside bedside might be?
The Fleetside chrome is going for around 2K if you can find it, it is not reproduced. I don't think the upper bed sides are reproduced either. I believe the lower (below the spear) are the same as later models up to 67?? and are available.

Re: Anyone know where a fleetside bedside might be?
Put up wanted to buy ads on Craigslist. That's what I did, found three of them, one was really a nice bed with all the chrome and stainless for $750 in the LA area. Wish I would have kept his contact info, sorry..... I feel like an @$$ now.

Re: Anyone know where a fleetside bedside might be?
Yep, I have been scouring Craigslist for quite a while. Got lucky yesterday and scored both bedsides in pretty good condition (much better than my current sides) about an hour from me. Picked them up last night!
Just got a PM that a forum member will be buying the longbed bedsides that I have. Overall a good couple of days. I'll get the new ( to me) bedsides installed on Bonnie in thenext couple of days. Gonna get the 3.08 gears in on Saturday. Then it will just be driving her all summer.
