What are the rallye wheels selling for?
I'm looking at changing wheels on my '96 GMC and I have a pair of rallye wheels, w/o trim rings/caps.
I have found someone who will sell me two more wheels, 4 trim rings and 4 center caps, for $125. So, is that a fair price? He says sets of 4, complete, are bringing $200.

Re: What are the rallye wheels selling for?
I just bought 4, 8" truck ralleys, slightly rusty, rings and caps, no tires for $150.00.
I just responded to a Craigslist ad, offering a set 7" ralleys, for $100.00.

Re: What are the rallye wheels selling for?
The first set I bought, I gave $60 for, and it had two good tires, caps and rings (smaller rings, not the deep ones). The next set I bought I gave $50 for, but it was wheels and caps, no beauty rings. I see them for sale all the time for $100-$125, but like anything else, supply and demand, and there are a lot of these wheels out there.
Now, counting the ones I have on the truck, I have like 4 total sets.... No idea how I did that when I just started off wanting one extra set to paint up. |

$125 is a good price if the center caps and trim rings are in good shape.

You can find them at junk yards all day for cheap. Wait till you find a half off day at a local Junk Yard then get four. You should just buy beauty rings and caps new.

Re: What are the rallye wheels selling for?
I've sold numerous sets on CL didn't seem to matter if they had trim rings or center caps always $100
The junk yard here sells the rims $12ea or rim/tires on them $16ea. |

Re: What are the rallye wheels selling for?
Sounds like a good price to me. I just saw a killer deal on van rallyes here yesterday on craiglists. $20 for a set w/o trim rings.

Re: What are the rallye wheels selling for?
The guy who has 'em has a menagerie of vehicles. If he was more flexible on his prices, he might not have so many of 'em for sale. But, he has some interesting stuff....like a Deuce coupe street rod, an A-body Malibu wagon that is painted like a '57 Chevy wagon, an antique golf cart, 'Vettes, etc. Wheels are strewed around like acorns, so that fact alone makes me leery of the condition of the trim rings and caps. If they aren't nice, I'm not leaving there with 'em.
Thanks for the feedback, guys.

Re: What are the rallye wheels selling for?
Every set of four I've sold has been $100 and less....
Currently have a set that aren't very deep on the front side.....trying to give 'em away.
