Re: Drop spindels

The way I tell is by looking where the "shaft" is positioned from the rear. When I say "shaft" I mean where the rotor sits. The stock spindles put it right above the lower ball joint mount. Its should be in the middle from the upper and lower ball joint mounts for drop spindles. I hope you can understand what Im trying to say, looking from back of the spindle.

Take the upper and lower control arms and spindels from the 84 front end and bolt them to the crossmember thats in the truck now. Then all you have to worrie about is tie rod ends. There are several threads on this, just hit up the search button.

Re: Drop spindels

Just switch to the '84 upper and lower control arms, steering linkage, steering box, and braking system. Of course you'll need the rotors and calipers as well.
