LWB Fleet bedsides, tailgate, gas tank, and bumpers
I have some parts left over from shortening down my 72 Super Cheyenne LWB Fleetside.
(2) LWB Fleet Bedsides /$75 ea./ - originals, good condition, only light surface rust, straight, no obvious dents, look very good (1) Repro tailgate with Chevrolet lettering /$50/, light surface rust in small areas, dented a little, bent a little. (1) gas tank /$50/, very good condition, no holes, looks great. Has a locking gas cap and sending unit. (1) Rear bumper /$50/, painted, good condition, straight, only surface rust. Will throw in a slightly bent front bumper. Hardware, brackets, and bolts not included (because I need them to bolt on my new shortbed). See pictures, can email more. Make a deal for the lot. This truck has been in southern NM and the sheetmetal is in good shape corrosion-wise. Prefer if buyer picks up locally in Las Cruces, NM or maybe El Paso, TX. May work out a deal to ship. Need to move this stuff in next month. Gotta love this website! |

Re: LWB Fleet bedsides, tailgate, gas tank, and bumpers
This is probably a stupid question, but the outsides are pretty far away. It looks like they have holes cut into the sides for the filler neck.
But, on the insides that are more close up, it does not look like this is the case. Am I confused or what? I need a passenger side bedside without a hole cut for the fuel tank, already have one like that. Plus, I am pretty close to NM. |

Re: LWB Fleet bedsides, tailgate, gas tank, and bumpers
There is a cutout for an auxiliary fuel tank on both bedsides, which should be easy to make a patch panel to cover. The cutout is only through the outside sheetmetal. The fuel filler goes between the inside and outside walls.

More pics of bedsides - I think these are in good shape and would be using them except that I now have a SWB. Bolts and hinges etc... not included.

Re: LWB Fleet bedsides, tailgate, gas tank, and bumpers
Sounds good, but I don't have much time to spend packing and shipping these bad boys. Send an offer/deal and I'll try to do it.

Re: LWB Fleet bedsides, tailgate, gas tank, and bumpers
I can't arrange any shipping deals. For additional $150, I may be willing to pack them up nicely for a local dropoff, but I really don't have time to do much else. Sorry - wish I could help more, but am moving in a couple of weeks.

Only the bumper is for sale. No hardware, brackets, or shields are included, sorry. Gotta keep 'em for my new chrome bumpers!

Re: LWB Fleet bedsides, tailgate, gas tank, and bumpers
PM sent, about the tank condition my question was if the filler neck is bent (like mine, leaks when making turns) probly due to prev owner hanging on the gas pump when filling up. thx jb!
