New 84 blazer pic.s
Pic.s of new blazer. It's an 84 m1009 military 6.2 diesel with 52000 miles. Straight from the utah nat. Guard. Very little rust. I was working at g.m. truck & bus assy. when these were built. Probably saw this one go down the line. john

Re: New 84 blazer pic.s
YEH.. I BET YOU DID. THERES A COUPLE OF FELLERS DOWN IN FLORIDA THAT BUY MILTARY VEHICALS FROM THE GSA MOTOR POOL, & SOMEONE GAVE THEM THE IDEA TO PUT BIGASS TIRES & A 6" LIFT ON SOME OF THEM TO SELL FOR THE OFF ROAD CROWD. I BID ON IT.. BUT BY BID ONLY WENT UP TO ABOUT $1250, NOT EVEN CLOSE TO HIS RESERVE. THERE 39" MICHILIN TIRES & I THINK THE TIRES & WHEELS ALONE WOULD COST MORE THAN THAT, NOT TO MENTION THE 6" RANCHO LIFT & THE TRUCK ITSELF. WITH THIS ECONOMY BEING IN THE SH!TTER LIKE IT IS & EVERYONE DOWN IN THAT AREAS CONCENTRATION ON THAT HUGE OIL SPILL, I GUESS BUYING A 26 YEAR OLD TRUCK IS WAY DOWN ON THE PRIORITY LIST. SHOOT IT'S THE NEWEST TRUCK I OWN. IT NEEDS A LITTLE TLC IN AREAS, BUT WITH ONLY 52000 MILES ON IT, I PLAN ON MAKING IT MY DAILY DRIVER. THAT 6.2 DIESEL IS MY FIRST DIESEL EVER (BESIDES MY JOHN DEERE) & WILL LEARN ABOUT BUILDING & MAINTAINING ONE. G.M. MADE ABOUT A SCRILLION OF EM, & NOW THAT THE ARMED FORCES IS REPLACING THEM WITH HUMMVEE'S, IT'S A PRETTY GOOD BANG FOR THE BUCK. JOHN
