TKO Shifter location??

Any of you running a Tremec TKO-500 or -600 with a bench seat? If so, what shifter location are you using. I've read that the 12.65 might be best, the 16.75 or 19.5 location might be too far back unless you use bucket seats.

Re: TKO Shifter location??

There was a thread on here about this a month or two ago. IIRC, the 12.65" position put the shifter in the best place. I'm assuming this was with the bellhousing mounted in the stock location, but nobody actually said anything about that. I know that some rodders doing V-8 swaps like to mount the engine on the forward set of holes, which is NOT stock.
