Detent Cable and and where does a Dark and light green wire go?
I have a 1970 Chevy blazer and like many others are in the process of putting things together. I still have the same hookup for the 70 blazer which is the rod that attaches to the carb. Does anyone know how to attach the Detent cable which I think its called(from trans to help shift) to the carb? Also, I have dark and light green wires that are in the engine compartment and from the manual states that its for the back up lighting. It has the same asembly at the end just like the headlights and turn signal lights.

Re: Detent Cable and and where does a Dark and light green wire go?
My kick-down cable was laying on the manifold, so I picked up a cheap bracket at the local speed shop for a TH350. It bolts to the carb. I don't believe there's a way to just bolt it to the carb linkage alone.
The reverse light wire in the engine bay on mine came out of the a 4 wire grommet behind the driver side head and ran down the frame to the rear. Maybe a pic would help?
