Should I drop it or leave it as-is?
Should I drop the rear or leave a rake, keep or leave says it all! The top pic is before I removed the helper spring after that it it dropped the rear about an inch the next two are after.
Thank you for all the comments! Jesse

I say Drop it. You probably couldn't care less, but I've never been much into the "raked" look.
Btw, what size wheels and tires are those?

Re: Should I drop it or leave it as-is?
I'd say about a 5/5 drop. And keep the smoothies. Lowering spindles and a coil cut from the stock coils up front and axle flip in back.

Re: Should I drop it or leave it as-is?
Drop it but keep a small rake. These trucks look great with a rake!
Our truck look best with the wheel up near the fender lip. Last edited by gchemist; 07-16-2010 at 03:35 PM. |

Dropped to the point where both front and rear tires have the same distance to the top of the wheel well lip gives them almost 2" of rake. Perfect! My ideal height is the top of the tire even height-wise to the lip.

Re: Should I drop it or leave it as-is?
I say lower the back another little bit
Could you take another leaf out ? keep in mind you need at least three on each side, the main one that bolts to the hangers, and 2 more the only time i like a rake is when im gardening lol
