A day of work and a little cash...

Well we went to try to pick up my '62 GMC today and found this in our way...

We had only brought an axe, a pair of hedge trimmers, and some branch clippers... we had no idea what we were in for... But thanks to my amazing girlfriend, who not only puts up with my habit but actually encourages it, we got it looking like this.

But anyways back to the truck, we had known there was a Long bed custom cab next to it but we could never get close enough to see in or around it. After the clean up this is what we found in it...

And for all the work I did trying to get to the trucks the guy let me have it for a little cash...

Nicely done, a couple of good trucks there. The girlfriend is a keeper for sure. I kept the first one I found like that, 10 years later no regrets. Sounds like a day well spent.

It would say, "Man it is about time, where the hell have you been... I am dying out here!"

Truck looks great from the photos... front bumper and grille look straight and true. Got any details on the trucks history you could share?

That's a pretty neat truck you got there. Are you planning to keep the factory PS?

Sadly no history, but it would be awesome to know something about its past.

Has she got any sisters? lol Nice find on the truck man. Keep the cheap finds coming. I know I'm addicted.

Re: A day of work and a little cash...

Well after a long talk with dad we decided that we have to let this one find a new home. It's just too nice to part out, and too big of an undertaking for us with my current build. We would like to find someone who would take her and give her the attention she deserves
