Car springs in 82 chevy
i want to lower my truck 2/4
i was wondering can i use the leafs and coils from a car?

I have no idea if they will fit, but I doubt it. If you are looking to do it on a budget, cut your stock spring one full coil for the 2" drop. On the rear, you can move the shackle and spring mount up. It's a lot of work to remove the rivets, but all it will cost is time and the bolts to replace the rivets.

Try searching the forum for Mopar van springs. I know I have seen something here about using them, but I don't remember the specifics.

I believe that will give you about 3" drop. You can gain another 3/4" by removing the tjick overload spring at the bottom of the pack.
