Door stop bracket
Anyone know of a vendor that sells the door frame bracket for the door stops for a 63 truck, I checked the usual suspects and no luck, the pick and pull here only has the 64 or later cabs, Thanks in advance. Larry

Re: Door stop bracket
I think I got mine from ether Classic Industries or LMC. But I might be thinking of the wrong part. Do you have a pic?

Re: Door stop bracket
the only difference then is the attachment to the pillar, but not to the stop mechanism itself
ron If one needs the part the screws onto the pillar,I do have a cab that I am getting rid of this week that has them on, 62 |

Re: Door stop bracket
I found an NOS pair on eBay. If the oem part number does you any good, here's a photo showing the items and the id tag. The original part number is 3773478. I do not believe these are being reproduced, only NOS or used.

Re: 64 Door stop bracket
I think most of the big retailers sell them. Classic industries, LMC, Classic trucks of America and brothers.
I used a set of jeep cherokee door stops they work grate and have notches so you can keep them open at different positions. I will try to find the tread on it or you can do a search on here for jeep cherokee |

Re: Door stop bracket
I bought a pair of aftermarket door checks, they were so weak that a small gust of wind would slam the door.
I found NOS ones, kinda pricey but they hold the door open even in strong winds. next time i need door checks i will get the jeep ones, they sound like an improvement over originals and a lot cheaper price.
