what size tire should i use on a stock 62 C10
it has the ol basic 6 lug 15 inch wheels
any pointers? |

235/75/15, they look real nice on these trucks. I have them on my 5.5" stock wheels.

i agree. i'm mounting 235/75/15s on my stock 5.5" wheels. It's probably the biggest you'd want to go (section-width-wise) but the 75 profile also fills up the wheelwells nicely. Stock size would be more like 205 or 215-75-15. (or maybe stock is a 70 series, I don't remember). Anyway - my 2 cents. And that's not worth a penny.
I was torn between 225s and 235s - and am going with 235s - everyone I've pinged on this has had no problem mounting them on 5.5 inch wheels - and the tall sidewall gives you a lot of leeway. good luck! |

I think I'm going to go with 235/75/15 when I change my tires.
The previous owner installed 265/75/15 and I can see where the tire was rubbing the wood in the wheel well. |
