Throttle return spring
Can someone post photos of their throttle return spring.
I just redo my system and my placement seems off. I have a 1964 C20 292 engine. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Throttle return spring
I have the repair mauel Aerotruk 63 and when I installed the spring in that position it would keep my idle high.
I purchased a return spring from NAPA and it is a double type. I think the spring is too stronge as it would not let my throttle linkage return to the original location. This is why I was asking for a actual photo of the truck. Thank you Aerotruk63. Last edited by Born Lucky; 09-19-2010 at 07:59 PM. |

Re: Throttle return spring
Is your gas pedal moving freely, might need some lube on the hinge section! My Dad said his 63 Bel Air would seize up in the pivot at the firewall.

Aerotruk63 should this application require one or two springs? |
