Best gas tank for rear mount- '57 Chevy truck?
I'm about to start a '57 Chevy truck project, with a 6.0 LQ9 engine swap, and I'm planning to mount a new tank under the bed. A factory style EFI tank that I could get from a salvage yard would be great...anyone have suggestions? I have heard S10 blazer, but wasn't sure what year, or if this were the best option.

I went with a custom aluminum tank, I had a friend of mine build one like the picture below and have a flange in the top which will allow for my future in tank pump. We also installed a angled filler tube which allows me to have the filler in the back corner of my fleetside bed instead of straight up through the bed floor.

If I recall correctly, s10 tanks are saddle style. but they might be small enough to work. I have also though of this and I used to have an old 80's toyota pickup and I was going to see if I could use a tank out of that.

I went with the 70 mustang 22 gallon tank, worked well for the in tank fuel pump with a little modification.
